Congratulations to our client Pure Peony (Dove River Peonies) which has been in the media with the news that it will receive a game-changing boost from New Zealand’s inaugural SheEO allocation of venture capital, announced in Auckland yesterday (9 April, 2018). The business was selected as one of five recipients from a group of 10 finalists that had been chosen from 100 businesses that qualified.
SheEO is a global innovation in the female entrepreneur marketplace started by Canadian Vicki Saunders in 2015. More than 150 regions around the world are replicating the movement’s financial model of providing interest-free loans to women-led business ventures that are revenue generating, have export potential, and create a better world through their business model, product or service.
The news appeared online on Stuff Business Day and was syndicated across national Fairfax papers including The Dominion Post, The Press and the Waikato Times, and also appeared on several newswires and as a NZBusiness news item.
