It was great to interview independent Australian breweries Two Birds (Brewer and Co-owner Jayne Lewis pictured above) and Stone & Wood on behalf of our client O-I Australia. We talked to the breweries about sustainable packaging and a closed-loop glass recycling system for an article in the Aussie publication Beer & Brewer.
Two Birds and Stone & Wood are great examples of two breweries with direct relationships with glass packaging manufacturer O-I that have leveraged this connection by implementing further initiatives to reduce their carbon footprint, such as taking direct responsibility for glass waste streams, reducing travel distance and supporting their local communities.
