We were thrilled to see our client Blackenbrook Vineyard feature on Seven Sharp. Michael Holland travelled to the Tasman vineyard to interview Ursula and Daniel Schwarzenbach and their kids, and to talk to them about why they’ve chosen to stay small and focused.

Daniel and Ursula designed and custom-built the winery from scratch, and pride themselves on its innovative and eco-friendly features. Established in 2001, Blackenbrook’s first wines were released in 2004.

In July 2016, Daniel and Ursula commissioned a new on-site bottling line and upgraded their bonded storage facility – the last feather in their cap for achieving complete independence for their 100% sustainable winery business. They now take care of every process from bud-burst in the vineyard through to selling the wine here and overseas.
